Shakira Caine (born as Shakira Baksh on February 23rd 1947 in British Guiana [now Guyana]) is a Guyanese former actress and glamour model. She was Miss Guyana in 1967 (took third place in Miss World 1967; the winner was Miss Peru). She has been married to actor Michael Caine since 1973. She is an actress, known for The Man Who Would Be King (1975), Son of Dracula (1973) and Where in the World? (1971). She has been married to Michael Caine since January 8, 1973. They have one child, daughter named Natasha. She met her husband-to-be, Michael Caine, after he became obsessed with meeting "the most beautiful woman he had ever seen" in a Maxwell House commercial directed by then unknown Ridley Scott. He was planning on going to Brazil to track her down but it turned she was living in London, England. A friend gave him her phone number and the rest is history.
